Michael Konrad

completed a typesetter apprenticeship and worked in several areas of the graphic industry after studying German and being trained as a grammar school teacher. In the mid-80s, as one of the first DTP specialists, he learned to produce annual reports from scratch.

In 1989, he founded today’s Michael Konrad GmbH, led by the idea to create interfaces between office PC users and the world of professional design and, at the same time, to make content producers as independent as possible from external service providers. The most recent development is FIRE.sys, a user-friendly solution for producing annual reports in-house based on Word and Excel.
